This project is a brief case study about this a news app called Inshorts. This case study is one of many expert hueristic evaluations conducted to validate Client's ideas. The case study highlights the heuristic violations and suggestions to solve the problems
PROJECT CONTEXT
Client requested several rounds of evaluation and expert review on different types of news app in order to validate their idea of a news app in the form of short video content.
RESEARCH APPROACH
A heuristic evaluation was conducted on the news app "inshorts" to determine its potential flaws and shortcomings. A "heuristic evaluation" is a method used in usability testing to assess the user-friendliness of a website or application

CASE STUDY CONCLUSION
After conducting a heuristic evaluation on the news app "Inshorts," it's evident that there are several gaps that can be addressed with straightforward design solutions, as recommended
Considering this information and the results of several other case studies conducted on similar news apps, it appears that there is potential for designing a news app with news delivered in the form of short-form video content. Nonetheless, conducting thorough user research would be valuable in confirming this proposition
